Fujifilm X-Pro2 vs X-T2

The X-Pro2 leads on more headline specs, but the X-T2 counters on 4K/30p video.

The short version

The Fujifilm X-Pro2 and Fujifilm X-T2 are Fujifilm APS-C bodies from different lines — the X-Pro and the X-T. Both launched in 2016. At launch the X-Pro2 was $1,699 and the X-T2 $1,599, making the X-T2 the more affordable of the two.

On paper the X-Pro2 is the stronger body of the two. It gives you a hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder, 350-shot battery life, and a lighter 495 g body.

The X-T2 isn't far behind. It hits back with 4K/30p video.

So which one? If you want a hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder, get the X-Pro2. If 4K/30p video is closer to what you actually need, the X-T2 is the smarter buy. And the X-T2 costs less — $1,599 at launch.
