Fujifilm X-Pro2 vs X100F

The X-Pro2 leads on more headline specs, but the X100F counters on a lighter 469 g body.

The short version

The Fujifilm X-Pro2 and Fujifilm X100F are Fujifilm APS-C bodies from different lines — the X-Pro and the X100. The X100F is the newer of the two, arriving in 2017. At launch the X-Pro2 was $1,699 and the X100F $1,299, making the X100F the more affordable of the two.

On paper the X-Pro2 is the stronger body of the two. It gives you 350-shot battery life, weather sealing, and 2 card slots.

The X100F isn't far behind. It hits back with a lighter 469 g body.

So which one? If you want 350-shot battery life, get the X-Pro2. If a lighter 469 g body is closer to what you actually need, the X100F is the smarter buy. And the X100F costs less — $1,299 at launch.
