Fujifilm X100F vs X100
The X100F leads on more headline specs, but the X100 counters on 300-shot battery life and a lighter 445 g body.
The short version
The Fujifilm X100F and Fujifilm X100 are both Fujifilm X100 bodies. The X100F is the newer of the two, arriving in 2017. At launch the X100F was $1,299 and the X100 $1,199, making the X100 the more affordable of the two.
On paper the X100F is the stronger body of the two. It gives you 24.3 MP of resolution, 8 fps continuous shooting, and 1080p/60p video, with a few smaller wins on top of that.
The X100 isn't far behind. It hits back with 300-shot battery life and a lighter 445 g body.
So which one? If you want 24.3 MP of resolution, get the X100F. If 300-shot battery life is closer to what you actually need, the X100 is the smarter buy. And the X100 costs less — $1,199 at launch.
