Fujifilm X-T1 vs X100S
The X-T1 leads on more headline specs, but the X100S counters on a hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder.
The short version
The Fujifilm X-T1 and Fujifilm X100S are Fujifilm APS-C bodies from different lines — the X-T and the X100. The X-T1 is the newer of the two, arriving in 2014. Both launched at $1,299.
On paper the X-T1 is the stronger body of the two. It gives you 8 fps continuous shooting, 350-shot battery life, and a lighter 440 g body, with a few smaller wins on top of that.
The X100S isn't far behind. It hits back with a hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder.
So which one? If you want 8 fps continuous shooting, get the X-T1. If a hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder is closer to what you actually need, the X100S is the smarter buy.
