Fujifilm X-T3 vs X100F
The X-T3 leads on more headline specs, but the X100F counters on a hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder and a lighter 469 g body.
The short version
The Fujifilm X-T3 and Fujifilm X100F are Fujifilm APS-C bodies from different lines — the X-T and the X100. The X-T3 is the newer of the two, arriving in 2018. At launch the X-T3 was $1,499 and the X100F $1,299, making the X100F the more affordable of the two.
On paper the X-T3 is the stronger body of the two. It gives you 26.1 MP of resolution, 11 fps continuous shooting, and face/eye-detection AF, with a few smaller wins on top of that.
The X100F isn't far behind. It hits back with a hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder and a lighter 469 g body.
So which one? If you want 26.1 MP of resolution, get the X-T3. If a hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder is closer to what you actually need, the X100F is the smarter buy. And the X100F costs less — $1,299 at launch.
