Fujifilm X-T50 vs X-T30

The X-T50 leads on more headline specs, but the X-T30 counters on 380-shot battery life and a lighter 383 g body.

The short version

The Fujifilm X-T50 and Fujifilm X-T30 are both Fujifilm X-T bodies. The X-T50 is the newer of the two, arriving in 2024. At launch the X-T50 was $1,399 and the X-T30 $899, making the X-T30 the more affordable of the two.

On paper the X-T50 is the stronger body of the two. It gives you 40.2 MP of resolution, AI subject-detection AF, and 6K/30p video, with a few smaller wins on top of that.

The X-T30 isn't far behind. It hits back with 380-shot battery life and a lighter 383 g body.

So which one? If you want 40.2 MP of resolution, get the X-T50. If 380-shot battery life is closer to what you actually need, the X-T30 is the smarter buy. And the X-T30 costs less — $899 at launch.
