Fujifilm X-E3 vs X-E2
The X-E3 leads on more headline specs, but the X-E2 counters on price and size.
The short version
The Fujifilm X-E3 and Fujifilm X-E2 are both Fujifilm X-E bodies. The X-E3 is the newer of the two, arriving in 2017. At launch the X-E3 was $899 and the X-E2 $999, making the X-E3 the more affordable of the two.
On paper the X-E3 is the stronger body of the two. It gives you 24.3 MP of resolution, 8 fps continuous shooting, and 4K/30p video, with a few smaller wins on top of that.
The X-E2 can't match those numbers. What it has going for it is a lower price, a smaller footprint, or just being the body you'd rather carry.
So which one? If you want 24.3 MP of resolution, get the X-E3. If the simpler, cheaper option is closer to what you actually need, the X-E2 is the smarter buy. And the X-E3 costs less — $899 at launch.
