Fujifilm X-T3 vs X-Pro2

The X-T3 leads on more headline specs, but the X-Pro2 counters on a hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder and a lighter 495 g body.

The short version

The Fujifilm X-T3 and Fujifilm X-Pro2 are Fujifilm APS-C bodies from different lines — the X-T and the X-Pro. The X-T3 is the newer of the two, arriving in 2018. At launch the X-T3 was $1,499 and the X-Pro2 $1,699, making the X-T3 the more affordable of the two.

On paper the X-T3 is the stronger body of the two. It gives you 26.1 MP of resolution, 11 fps continuous shooting, and face/eye-detection AF, with a few smaller wins on top of that.

The X-Pro2 isn't far behind. It hits back with a hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder and a lighter 495 g body.

So which one? If you want 26.1 MP of resolution, get the X-T3. If a hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder is closer to what you actually need, the X-Pro2 is the smarter buy. And the X-T3 costs less — $1,499 at launch.
