Fujifilm X-E4 vs X-E5
The X-E5 leads on more headline specs, but the X-E4 counters on 380-shot battery life and a lighter 364 g body.
The short version
The Fujifilm X-E4 and Fujifilm X-E5 are both Fujifilm X-E bodies. The X-E5 is the newer of the two, arriving in 2025. At launch the X-E4 was $849 and the X-E5 $1,699, making the X-E4 the more affordable of the two.
On paper the X-E4 is the stronger body of the two. It gives you 380-shot battery life and a lighter 364 g body.
The X-E5 isn't far behind. It hits back with 40.2 MP of resolution, AI subject-detection AF, and 6K/30p video, with a couple more edges beyond that.
So which one? If you want 380-shot battery life, get the X-E4. If 40.2 MP of resolution is closer to what you actually need, the X-E5 is the smarter buy. And the X-E4 costs less — $849 at launch.
