Fujifilm X-H2 vs X-Pro3

The X-H2 leads on more headline specs, but the X-Pro3 counters on a hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder and a lighter 497 g body.

The short version

The Fujifilm X-H2 and Fujifilm X-Pro3 are Fujifilm APS-C bodies from different lines — the X-H and the X-Pro. The X-H2 is the newer of the two, arriving in 2022. At launch the X-H2 was $1,999 and the X-Pro3 $1,799, making the X-Pro3 the more affordable of the two.

On paper the X-H2 is the stronger body of the two. It gives you 40.2 MP of resolution, 15 fps continuous shooting, and AI subject-detection AF, with a few smaller wins on top of that.

The X-Pro3 isn't far behind. It hits back with a hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder and a lighter 497 g body.

So which one? If you want 40.2 MP of resolution, get the X-H2. If a hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder is closer to what you actually need, the X-Pro3 is the smarter buy. And the X-Pro3 costs less — $1,799 at launch.
